Alpinestars SX-1 PLASMA Knee Protector features a PLASMA Knee Protector embedded into a highly ventilated semi-rigid frame construction for superior impact protection, while the integrated Dual Gear System (DGS) promotes the natural articulation of the knee.
- Highly Comfortable: The Nucleon PLASMA knee protector is constructed from a USDA Certified Biobased viscoelastic material. Designed for multi-directional pliability, the protector molds to the knee for a close fit, effectively dissipating impact energy to deliver reliable protection.
- Dual Density Co-Injected Frame for Support and Unrivalled Comfort: Engineered with a scooped lower extension made from a soft polymeric blend to avoid any pressure points associated with a hard edge from occurring as a result of the boot pushing against the protector. The same scooped design is also applied to the upper extension, preventing the protector from digging into the skin and causing discomfort while riding.
- Controlled Natural Movement: Featuring the Dual Gear System (DGS) where both the upper and lower frames have integrated gear profiles that ensure a smooth hinge function to promote the natural articulation of the knee.
