SHOEI VFX-WR 06 Motocross Helmet
The SHOEI VFX-WR 06 is the latest version of Shoei's popular motocross helmet. The newest development version features the new-era ECE 22-06 approval, which means that the helmet has passed the highest possible quality and safety inspection.
The VFX-WR 06 helmet is still made for you who value quality and want to protect your head with the best protective equipment on the market. The design of this advanced helmet takes into account safety, practicality and appearance alike. This helmet, which essentially sets all the standards in this segment, is used by many professional athletes and will be your choice too, at the latest once you have tried it on. A helmet that leaves no room for second-guessing, in protection where there is no room for second-guessing!
AIM + outer shell
The outer shell is made from a fibre composite blend with a density optimised to achieve the best impact resistance and stiffness. The size of the outer shell varies according to size, which means that all size options of the helmet offer the best possible protection and the distance of the outermost point from the skull remains as small as possible for safety. The outer shell is manufactured in four different sizes (XS-S | M | L | XL-XXL). The outer shell has up to 6 fibre layers to absorb impacts.
EPS inner shell + M.E.D.S Motion Energy Distribution System
Beneath the outer shell, the EPS inner shell collects the impact forces transmitted from the outer shell. The EPS shell is divided into two parts, of which the outer continuous part dampens direct impact energy and the inner one slows down rotational movement. Especially the inner EPS shell, SHOEI's own M.E.D.S system, is a very advanced solution that reduces the rotational movement applied to the brain in the event of a fall. This plays a primary role when considering the impact forces that reach the brain and the injuries they cause.
E.Q.R.S Emergency Quick Release System
The emergency release of the cheek pads in an accident situation makes it easier to remove the helmet without applying forces to the spine or neck. The cheek pads are available in four different sizes to ensure the best possible fit and thus also safety.
3D Max-Dry interior
The interior is made from a technical fabric that absorbs moisture and feels comfortable even when wet. The crown section of the interior is available in three different thicknesses, allowing you to fine-tune the perfect fit. For the S - XS size, a thicker 17 mm padding is also available, which makes the helmet suitable even for a small head and thus extends the helmet's service life. The helmet has a double-D lock as well as a removable strap padding.
The SHOEI VFX-WR 06 helmet is well ventilated with seven air intakes placed at different points and eight air exhaust vents located at the rear. The helmet's appearance is aerodynamic and the visor is stylishly integrated into the whole.
In addition to the helmet, the sales package includes a storage bag, extra visor screws (2 pcs), a splash guard fitted to the chin section, an instruction manual, reflector and Shoei logo stickers. In addition, the white colours include an anti-glare guard fitted to the underside of the visor.
The interior, visor and other spare parts are cross-compatible with the older WFX-WR model.
