The all-new Alpinestars Tech 7 motocross boot for 2025!
The Tech 7, a longtime favourite among riders, has finally been revamped after ten years. The new version sees virtually the entire boot rebuilt from the ground up, with improvements across the board — and the price hasn't gone up significantly, at least not with us.
The upper still uses a combination of microfibre and TPU, but the amount of TPU has increased considerably, making the boot noticeably stiffer. Comfort remains at the same level, however, and the added stiffness mainly translates into a heightened sense of safety. The boot's weight has also dropped even further.
Other new features include a completely redesigned articulation system, buckles and straps, as well as an Achilles tendon protector.
- Upper made from a combination of microfibre and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

- The TPU shin plate is anatomically shaped and secured with both a hook-and-loop fastener and a buckle
- The inner TPU protector features a rubberised zone for excellent grip against the bike
- TPU Ankle Protection System reduces the twisting forces acting on the foot
- A contoured hard-plastic calf protector provides protection for the heel and Achilles tendon
- Protective TPU toe and heel sections
- Seamlessly bonded dual-compound sole offers outstanding grip
- Extremely user-friendly buckles made from a polymer and aluminium blend
- Anti-slip microfibre lining holds the heel more securely in place
