Alpinestars Neck Brace for Kids
The Alpinestars neck brace for kids is designed to prevent hyperextension of the neck and compression of the vertebrae. The neck brace also helps the neck muscles cope with the whiplash motions caused by a crash, which can lead to fractures in the neck and spinal vertebrae. The neck brace works by stopping the movement of the helmet when it comes into contact with the brace, thereby reducing the forces transmitted to the neck.
The Alpinestars neck brace is extremely lightweight and unobtrusive while riding, and with a properly sized fit it won't restrict the normal range of motion of the rider's head. This model is made for kids approximately 8–14 years of age.
We recommend bringing your upper body protector and helmet with you to the store when fitting the neck brace, or trying it on at home before heading out to ride.
