ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. The material used is the same alloy as employed by other leading Japanese engine manufacturers. ProX piston kits are a top-tier alternative to OEM parts when you need a replacement component for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids in break-in.
In addition, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the entire service life of the piston. This black coating is specifically engineered to enhance performance.
The retail package includes the piston, piston rings, piston pin + clips.
Nicasil/coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01 mm increments for the standard 78.00 mm bore.
