ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. The material used is the same alloy that other leading Japanese engine manufacturers rely on. ProX piston kits are a first-class alternative to OEM parts when you need a replacement for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids in the break-in process.
In addition, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the entire service life of the piston. This black coating is specifically engineered to enhance performance.
The retail package includes all the parts shown in the image.
Nicasil/coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01 mm increments (sizes A, B, C). This piston has a diameter of 53.95 mm (standard cylinder bore 54.00 mm).
