ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. The material used is the same alloy that the other leading Japanese engine manufacturers rely on. ProX piston kits are a premium alternative to OEM parts when you need a replacement for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids the break-in process.
In addition, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the entire service life of the piston. This black coating is specifically engineered to boost performance.
The sales package includes all the parts shown in the image.
Nicasil/coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01 mm increments (sizes A, B, C). The diameter of this piston is 53.97 mm (standard cylinder bore 54.00 mm).
