The Wiseco Racer Elite piston kit is the manufacturer's flagship product, designed and built without compromise for riders who put engine performance and reliability above all else. The asymmetrical piston skirt gives the piston the exact characteristics it needs on both the exhaust and intake sides throughout the various stages of the combustion cycle, resulting in a lightweight end product that delivers up to 2.9 horsepower more from a simple piston swap. Durability, on the other hand, has been improved with features such as reinforcements around the wrist pin and new piston ring properties. The bevelled piston ring seals the piston more effectively, while a precision-machined ring groove allows just the right amount of lubrication into the cylinder. The Racer Elite piston also features an ArmorGlide coating that preserves the piston's properties throughout its entire service life, reduces friction, and minimises the effects of temperature fluctuation.
