The Wiseco Racer Elite piston kit is the manufacturer's flagship product, designed and built without compromise for riders who consider engine performance and reliability absolutely essential. The asymmetrical piston skirt gives the piston the properties it needs on both the exhaust and intake sides throughout the various stages of combustion, resulting in a lightweight final product that delivers up to a 2.9 horsepower gain simply by swapping the piston. The piston's durability, on the other hand, has been enhanced with features such as reinforcements around the wrist pin and new piston ring properties. The bevelled piston ring seals the piston more effectively, and the precision-machined ring groove lets exactly the right amount of lubrication reach the cylinder. The Racer Elite piston also features an ArmorGlide coating, which preserves the piston's properties throughout its entire service life, reduces friction, and minimises the effects of temperature fluctuation.
