SIDI Crossfire 3 SRS
Sidi's premium Crossfire 3 SRS (Sole Replacement System) boot delivers exceptional, all-round protection for your foot whether you're riding motocross or enduro. The boot features comprehensive hard protection across the instep, heel, shin and calf. The Sidi Crossfire 3 is articulated and also fitted with a hyper-extension stopper. The boot is crafted from "techno micro" material, which is as durable as leather but lighter, and repels water and dirt better than other synthetic leathers. The boot offers excellent adjustability and fits a small foot just as well as a large one.
Image 2. The Flex System articulation at the lower ankle and calf allows natural ranges of motion, so the boot isn't impossibly stiff even when brand new. The articulation in the calf protector also enables strap adjustment and fastening to achieve the best possible fit.
Image 3. The shin plate, made from heat-formed polycarbonate, is anatomically shaped, eye-catching and highly protective. Thanks to its screw fastening, this — like all the other protectors — is replaceable.
Image 4. The hyper-extension block prevents the ankle from flexing both forwards and backwards, protecting the ankle joints and the Achilles tendon.
Image 5. The boot's straps attach via a replaceable quick-release buckle that lets you lock the strap at your chosen length. There are four straps in total: the top one is "extra long", the middle ones are "long" and the bottom one is "short". The boot's buckles attach with a single screw, so these too are easily removable and replaceable. The single anchor point also allows the buckle to move along with the foot.
Image 6. The boot's hard TPU calf and shin protectors are screw-mounted and adjustable, leaving room even for a larger calf. The protectors also feature integrated rubber shock-absorbing pads.
Image 7. The boot is packed with protectors to safeguard your foot even against harder impacts. (A) The heel is anatomically shaped and made from hard polycarbonate. The heel's shaping is designed and built to protect particularly against twisting. The hard protector also stiffens the boot's structure and improves the rider's stability. (B) Replaceable wear pads on the inner surface of the boot protect the instep should your foot slip off the footpeg. (C) The toes are likewise protected by a hard polycarbonate guard that shields them against impacts from the front as well as crushing from above. (D) The bottom buckle is protected by a wing that prevents it from opening or snagging on any object.
Image 8. The SRS in the boot's name stands for "Sole Replacement System", meaning a replaceable sole. The boot's central wear pad is secured with four quick-release fasteners and is extremely quick and easy to swap out. The rubber wear pad also provides excellent grip on the footpegs. The front of the sole is textured to improve the boot's grip in enduro conditions. The heel block additionally features an integrated flexible pad to cushion impacts.
