BMC vapaavirtaus-ilmansuodattimet on valmistettu monikerroksisesta öljytystä puuvillakankaasta. Rakenne maksimoi ilmavirtauksen mutta estää silti tehokkaasti epäpuhtauksien pääsyn moottoriin.
Suodattimissa käytetty kuminen runkorakenne maksimoi suodattimen pinta-alan ja saumaton joustava kehys mukautuu ilmansuodatinkotelon muotoihin varmistaen tiiveyden.
Suodatin toimitetaan valmiiksi öljyttynä. Tarvittaessa se voidaan pestä ja öljytä uudelleen käyttäen siihen tarkoitettua huolto-sarjaa.
