ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. They're made from the very same alloy used by leading Japanese engine manufacturers. ProX piston kits are a top-tier alternative to OEM parts whenever you need a replacement for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids the break-in process.
On top of that, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the entire lifespan of the piston. The black coating is specifically engineered to boost performance.
Nikasil-coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01 mm increments (sizes A, B, C). This piston has a diameter of 96.97 mm (standard cylinder bore 97.00 mm).
In addition to the piston, the sales package includes the piston rings, the piston pin and the circlips.
