SIDI Crossfire 3 SRS Motocross Boots
Sidi's premium boot, the Crossfire 3 SRS (Sole Replacement System), delivers outstanding, all-round protection for your feet whether you're tackling motocross or enduro. The boot features a comprehensive array of hard guards across the instep, heel, shin and calf. The Sidi Crossfire 3 is articulated and comes equipped with a hyperextension stopper to prevent overextension. The boot is crafted from "techno micro" material, which is as durable as leather but lighter, and far better at repelling water and dirt than other synthetic leathers. The boot offers excellent adjustability and fits both narrow and wider feet beautifully.
Image 2. The Flex System pivot solutions at the ankle and lower calf allow natural ranges of motion, so the boot isn't impossibly stiff even when brand new. The pivot in the calf guard also enables strap adjustment and fastening to achieve the best possible fit.
Image 3. The shin plate, made from heat-laminated polycarbonate, is anatomically shaped, striking in appearance and highly protective. Thanks to its screw fastening, this guard—like all the others—is replaceable.
Image 4. The Hyper Extension Block overextension guard prevents the ankle from flexing both forwards and backwards, protecting the ankle joints and the Achilles tendon.
Image 5. The boot's straps attach via a replaceable quick-release buckle, allowing you to lock the strap at your preferred length. There are four straps in total: the top one is "extra long", the middle ones "long" and the lowest "short". The boot's buckles are secured with a single screw, making them just as easy to remove and replace. The single attachment point also allows the buckle to move with the natural motion of your leg.
Image 6. The boot's hard TPU calf and shin guards are screw-fastened and adjustable, leaving room even for larger calves. Rubber shock-absorbing pads are also integrated into the guards.
Image 7. The boot is packed with guards to protect your feet from even the heaviest impacts. (A) The heel is anatomically shaped and made from hard polycarbonate. The heel's design is purpose-built to protect against twisting in particular. The hard guard also stiffens the boot's structure and improves the rider's stability. (B) Replaceable wear pads on the inner surface of the boot protect the instep when your foot slips off the footpeg. (C) The toes are also protected by a hard polycarbonate guard, shielding them from frontal impacts as well as crushing from above. (D) The lowest buckle is protected by a wing that prevents it from opening or snagging on objects.
Image 8. The SRS in the boot's name stands for "Sole Replacement System", meaning a replaceable sole. The boot's central wear pad is secured with four quick-release fasteners and is extremely fast and easy to swap out. The rubber wear pad also provides excellent grip on the footpegs. The front of the sole is patterned to deliver better boot grip in enduro conditions. A flexible guard is also integrated into the heel to dampen impacts.
