ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. The material is the same alloy used by other leading Japanese engine manufacturers. ProX piston kits are a first-class alternative to OEM parts when you need a replacement for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids the break-in process.
In addition, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the entire service life of the piston. The black coating is specifically designed to enhance performance.
Nicasil-coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01mm increments (sizes A, B, C). The diameter of this piston is 78.97mm (standard cylinder bore 79.00mm).
In addition to the piston, the sales package includes piston rings, the piston pin and circlips.
