ProX pistons are precision-finished using the latest state-of-the-art CNC machinery. They're made from the same alloy that the leading Japanese engine manufacturers rely on. ProX piston kits are a top-tier alternative to OEM parts when you need a spare for your motorcycle, scooter, moped, ATV or jet ski.
Most ProX pistons feature an OEM-style coating that aids the break-in process.
On top of that, ProX has developed a special skirt coating that reduces friction throughout the piston's entire service life. This black coating is specifically engineered to boost performance.
Nicasil/coated cylinders cannot be bored. Pistons are available in 0.01mm increments (sizes A, B, C). This piston has a diameter of 77.97 mm (standard cylinder bore 78.00 mm).
In addition to the piston, the retail package includes piston rings, a piston pin and circlips.
