Accossato RTB Brake Master Cylinder with Short Lever
The Accossato radial brake master cylinder delivers powerful, precisely controlled braking force. Crafted from a strong aluminium alloy, it guarantees a lightweight yet rigid master cylinder with excellent torsional stiffness.
The Ready To Brake versions feature an integrated brake light switch.
The 16mm piston is best suited for use with a single brake disc.
This master cylinder has a 16mm lever ratio.
- 16x16 = Longer lever travel and less squeeze force required for braking.
- 16x18 = Shorter lever travel and more squeeze force required for braking.
- PRS 16 = Adjustable lever travel (adjustment range 16x17-18-19)
The design also aims to minimise master cylinder flex by using a suitable offset mount.
Made in Italy from the finest materials; stainless steel screws, a zinc-plated air nipple, and seals made from rubber developed for Formula 1.
Extremely short free lever travel before brake pressure builds. The free travel is up to 50% shorter compared to conventional radial master cylinders.
The brake fluid reservoir attaches to the hose fitting. The reservoir is not included and is sold separately.
