Accossato RTB Brake Master Cylinder with Short Lever
The Accossato radial brake master cylinder delivers powerful, well-controlled braking force. Manufactured from strong aluminium alloy to ensure the master cylinder is lightweight, robust and torsionally rigid.
The Ready To Brake versions feature an integrated brake light switch.
The 16mm piston is best suited for a single brake disc.
This master cylinder has an 18mm lever ratio.
- 16x16 = Longer lever travel and less squeeze force needed for braking.
- 16x18 = Shorter lever travel and more squeeze force needed for braking.
- PRS 16 = Adjustable lever travel (adjustment range 16x17-18-19)
The design also aims to minimise master cylinder flex by using a suitable offset mount.
Made in Italy from the highest quality materials; stainless steel screws, zinc-plated steel bleeder nipple and seals made from rubber developed for Formula 1.
Extremely short free lever travel before brake pressure builds. Free travel is up to 50% shorter compared to conventional radial master cylinders.
The brake fluid reservoir attaches to the hose fitting. The reservoir is not included and is sold separately.
