Uudistunut Lock-on kahva mahdollistaa kahvakumien vaihdon muutamassa sekunnissa ilman varmistuslankaa ja tuppiliimaa. Lock-on kahvat kiinnitetään ruuveilla ohjaustankoon, joka estää niiden pyörimisen ajon aikana. Uudessa MX v2 versiossa mukana tulee viisi eri vaihdettavaa kahvaholkin sovitetta soveltuen näin sekä 2 - tahtisiin, että 4 - tahtisiin.
