An ergonomically optimised fit designed for women.
The Tech-Air 3 Airbag System is Alpinestars' lightest, fully autonomous airbag system (it works on its own, with no need for a GPS signal like some competitors' products) designed to be worn either under or over your riding gear. This airbag system is built for touring, city riding, commuting and light offroad adventure.

Alpinestars' crash detection algorithm has been developed and fine-tuned using data from millions of riding kilometres and thousands of crashes, allowing the system to determine with exceptional accuracy exactly when the airbag should deploy. The Tech-Air 3's airbags inflate in just 50 milliseconds. The process is incredibly fast — for comparison, the average blink of an eye takes 100–400 milliseconds.

Please note! If you wear the Tech-Air 3 under your jacket, the fit must be checked on a case-by-case basis. Our sales staff will be happy to help with this. The vest needs room to inflate, so there must be at least 4 cm of slack around the chest with the vest on, for example. When worn as the outermost layer, the fit naturally doesn't need to be verified other than by choosing the size that fits best. If you have the chance to try on the vest at our store, feel free to bring your own jacket along so we can put the vest under or over it and make sure everything fits together.
