The Alpinestars Supertech R10 helmet represents the pinnacle of Alpinestars expertise, harnessing modern technology and development collaboration with the world's best riders. SCULPTED BY SPEED

At high speeds, the head and neck are subjected to enormous pressure. The Supertech R10 delivers aerodynamic stability and comfort fine-tuned to the absolute limit for racing and sport riding styles, both inside and outside the helmet.

DESIGNED TO PERFORM & PROTECT

The chin bar has been optimised to reduce impact forces transmitted to the collarbones, partly by lightening the chin bar structure so that less force is transferred to the collarbones should the helmet strike them in a crash. The chin's safety hasn't been overlooked, however, as the helmet's chin bar design takes that into account as well.

CARBON SHELL – a carbon fibre shell built up from multiple different layers. The goal: to achieve the best possible safety, performance and a sensible weight ratio

From this it's clear that the very best shell materials have been used in the helmet's construction.

The helmet's EPS liner is made up of eight separate pieces, produced in six different densities. Thicker densities are used in areas more prone to impact, thinner densities elsewhere.

The EPS is also equipped with a system that lets you adjust the helmet's height and angle, ensuring the correct position and fit regardless of your riding posture.

FULLY OPTIMIZED AERODYNAMIC SHAPE

The helmet's shape has been developed to achieve aerodynamic performance and stability. The race spoiler and the "wings" at the rear of the helmet reduce the sensation of pressure by an additional 4.54% on top of the helmet's shaping.

The aerodynamic spoiler is mounted using a patented release system whose elastic connections help the spoiler detach from the helmet during a significant impact, regardless of the angle of the strike.

The helmet's visor uses "turbulators" to improve the helmet's aerodynamics and acoustic performance.

220° OF LATERAL VISION & 57° OF VERTICAL VISION

The helmet's face opening and head position have been maximised to achieve an exceptionally wide field of vision and riding comfort. This is reflected, among other things, in the lowered side lines – you can see better laterally.

SHIELD CONSTRUCTION AND FEATURES

The helmet's visor is an ECE 2206 standard Optical Class 1 visor. It's ready for Pinlock's premium 120 XLT pinlock as well as tear-off films. The visor's thickness is 2.6mm in the centre and 1.6mm at the edges.

The visor mechanism features metal locking levers that prevent the visor from detaching in the event of an impact. The visor mechanism's motion is designed so that the visor seals perfectly against the rubber gasket. When opening the visor, the mechanism moves it forward away from the helmet shell. The visor mechanism is easy to use, so you can swap the visor for another one quickly. There's a lock at the bottom centre of the visor.

11 VENTILATION PORTS

The chin ventilation consists of two ports on either side of the visor lock. Air is directed from these ports onto the inner surface of the visor to prevent fogging. The lower vents in the chin bar move humid air out of the helmet.

On the crown of the helmet there's a large vent that channels fresh air to the head. In addition, when open, it removes hot air from the rider's brow. The exhaust ports located under the spoiler effectively expel warm air.

The vents work together to keep the rider alert.
