The fully redesigned Alpinestars Tech 7 motocross boot for 2025!
A firm favourite among riders, the Tech 7 has finally been overhauled after ten years. The new version is essentially a ground-up rebuild — everything has been improved, and the price hasn't risen significantly, at least not here.
The outer material is still a combination of microfibre and TPU, but the amount of TPU has increased considerably, making the boot noticeably stiffer. Comfort, however, remains on the same level, and the added stiffness mainly translates into an enhanced feeling of safety. The boot's weight has also been reduced even further.
Also new is a completely redesigned hinge system, buckles and straps, plus an Achilles tendon protector.
- Outer material is a combination of microfibre and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

- The anatomically shaped TPU shin guard closes with both Velcro and a buckle
- The inner TPU protector features a rubber zone that provides excellent grip on the bike
- The TPU Ankle Protection System reduces twisting forces on the foot
- A contoured hard-plastic calf guard offers protection for the heel and Achilles tendon
- Protective TPU toe and heel section
- The seamlessly bonded dual-compound sole delivers superb grip
- Extremely easy-to-use buckles made from a polymer and aluminium blend
- The anti-slip microfibre inner lining keeps the heel better in place
