Optimaten akkulaturit ovat todellisia “kytke ja unohda” latureita. Käyttäjän tarvitsee vain kytkeä akku laturiin ja laturi pistorasiaan, jonka jälkeen laturi hoitaa lataamisen ja ylläpidon täysin automaattisesti. Myös elvytystoiminnot ja ylläpitotoiminnot ovat täysin automaattisia ja laturi huolehtii että akku pysyy aina 100% käyttövalmiina. Optimate laturin säännöllinen käyttö jopa nelinkertaistaa akun käyttöiän.
Optimate 1 DUO laturi soveltuu kaikille lyijyakuille ja litium-akuille. Laturi tunnistaa kytketyn akun tyypin automaattisesti. Laturin johtojen väärinkytkentä (oikosulku, väärä napaisuus) ei vahingoita laturia.

- An excellent-seeming product so far. The connector lead stays permanently attached to the battery. You just plug the connector in and the plug into the wall and charging begins. No buttons to press, it switches on even after a power outage. The 600 mA charging current doesn't boil the battery.
- Works really well together with the euro5 -> SAE adapter. No need to remove the whole seat for charging anymore.
